LOOK around. What do you want to be doing? Who are you doing it for? Is it for you? For your bank account? Are you doing it because it's what you think you're supposed to be doing?
{Hint: wrong answer.}
It's okay imperative to LISTEN to the small voice in your head. That's your calling that's calling you. What's it asking you to do? Are you ignoring it or listening? Listen. Really HEAR it.
FEEL it. SMELL it. TASTE it. Now pair it with your natural talents and gifts. And there it is.
Once you've got that down, try it with your market.
What's your niche? In other words, who are you serving?
Again, look hard...beyond the surface. LISTEN intently...really hear what they're looking for. FEEL them out. What is it they are seeking? Can you give it to them?
Don't try to flex your style beyond your given niche to serve a customer who lies outside the fringes of your offerings, lest you spread yourself too thin for the niche market you've so painstakingly defined. Don't sell yourself out to snatch a quick sale. You're in this for the relationships. Send them elsewhere. It's okay. They'll appreciate it and will likely be back.
Don't try to sell, strive to provide and find success- on your terms.
Gather ye senses and use them as they were intended. Embark on a discovery journey. Just be sure to bring your {open} mind and deductive reasoning skills along for the ride. Honesty, non-negotiable.
