1. Describe your business in 2 sentences.

I paint, sew, and hand make pretty and whimsical lovelies for the home. Everything is handmade by me, and, more often than not, one of a kind.

2. How did you come up with your business concept/idea?

I have a background in fashion, and went back to my art/creative roots when my son was a baby. I started drawing and painting again, and, on a whim, put a painting on eBay one day. A bid was placed within an hour of listing. From there, my business was born. I wanted a way to be able to work from home, stay with my son, and be creative at the same time. I moved into other areas as well as painting, and within a year, after eBay's fees skyrocketed, I started up my own website. I guess you could say my business found me.

3. What are your three superpowers?

Multi tasker extraordinaire - I can type and talk on the phone at the same time.
I can hoard like nobody's business.
I can smell a shoe sale within 10 miles.

4. What's the most valuable piece of advice you've ever received?

Be a first rate version of yourself, not a second rate version of someone else.
